I use the x to remove tasks that I no longer intend to do rather than for tasks that I have completed (this shows up in the task history differently). Instead, would prefer clicking the task checkbox to automatically complete and remove rather than then having to manually remove using the x button to remove from the list.

2) When completing a task, it remains in the list. Yes, I can change to countdown manually but when a task finishes the option to add 10 minutes pops up, it resorts to counting up again - makes no sense to me. A couple of tweaks would be helpful though: 1) introducing the count up timer is fine (don't use it myself but appreciate others might) however, why is counting up now the default?
